Hi, I'm George and I will be your
photographer should you choose to commission the
services of Louise Anne Studios.
I have been interested in
photography since my service in the Royal Navy between 1978 and 1987. I
bought my first SLR way back in 1979 in a duty free shop in Gibraltar and
quickly learned the skills of how to take a decent picture. I used to send
may of the images home as post cards rather than buy the commercial ones
and often won local competitions with my work
For many years after the Navy
my cameras lay in a box gathering dust but about 5 Yr ago I decided to
pick them up and rekindle my passion. I now use a professional DSLR with a
full studio outfit; a million miles from where I started out. I still have
the old Pentax stuck in box somewhere under the stairs just for the
memories it brings me.
My galleries are my world. In
them you can see what I see when I look through the lens and I am lucky
enough to have a wife and partner (Louise) who supports me and sells my
work to magazines, newspapers and calendar companies all over the world.
Each time I see one of my images in print it make me all the more
determined to continue taking imaginative and creative shots.
